Hello. This article is interesting, but I make some edits for the two maps according to the sources. For sunshine in Italy, Torino is about 2000 per year, Milano about 1900, Udine about 1850 (the lowest).

I'll edit the second map which has some mistakes.

Hi, I don't agree with your edit on this page because your map is not based on a homogenous dataset. I have made a map using various sources (like the ones you cidetd in the talk pages) which looks different from the one I uploaded but I didn't choose it because the data were not homogenous. The map I posted is instead based on a study by Mario Pinna (you can check the source).--Carnby (msg) 16:34, 5 dic 2010 (CET)[rispondi]

Mr. Carnby, in the second map there are some mistakes: western fringes of Scandinavia (for example, Bergen, Alesund, Trondheim, Bodo and Tromso) have from 1100 to 1400 hours of sunshine. The western coast of Iceland has from 1200 to 1300 hours of sun (cf. Reykjavik, 1270). The Atlantic coast of Spain has from 1600 to 2000 hours and so Bretagne and Normandie. Thanks for attention.

These problems have been frequently noted; however I will not change the image because I have taken it directly from this map (source: M. Pinna, L'atmosfera e il clima, p. 63). I will try to get the original publication by Landsberg, until then any change to that image would be original research.--Carnby (msg) 12:37, 5 feb 2011 (CET)[rispondi]
