Chris Black Changed My Life è il nono album in studio del gruppo rock americano Portugal. The Man. È stato pubblicato il 23 giugno 2023 da Atlantic Records. L'album è stato prodotto principalmente da Jeff Bhasker e Asa Taccone, con Tommy Danvers, Tyler Johnson e Casey Bates che hanno contribuito alla produzione.
L'album è dedicato all'amico di lunga data della band e omonimo dell'album Chris Black, morto a maggio 2019[1]. Promozione
L'album è stato supportato dall'uscita del primo singolo "Dummy" il 1º marzo 2023, quando l'album è stato annunciato per la prima volta[2]. Allo stesso tempo, la canzone è stata concessa in licenza per essere utilizzata in una campagna pubblicitaria di Taco Bell lo stesso mese. Il secondo singolo, Champ, è stato rilasciato il 16 aprile 2023. Il terzo singolo, "Thunderdome [WTA]", è stato pubblicato il 12 maggio 2023. Il quarto singolo, Summer of Luv, è stato pubblicato il 24 maggio 2023. Il quinto e ultimo singolo, Plastic Island, è stato pubblicato l'8 giugno 2023.
