English: Viscount Chelmsford joins the Automobile Club's day out, 9 May 1908.
A run of the Queensland Automobile Club in the Hon. J. W. Blair's car. Photograph is part of Governor Chelmsford's private collection. Lord Chelmsford is seated next to the chauffeur. In the back are the Governor's two daughters, Hon. Joan and Anne Thesiger, with Hon. J. Blair. (Description supplied with photograph). The car is a Panhard Et Levassor which is a 4 cylinder 24 horsepower vehicle. It is strongly believed that this vehicle was later converted to a Government railcar, and is still in possession of Queensland Rail. The Garage contains approximately 500 images of vehicles used in Queensland Australia, covering the period from 1900 . The images are linked to an index of the State Library of Queensland's extensive collection of automotive repair manuals.Français : Le vicomte Chelmsford se joint à la journée de l'Automobile Club, le 9 mai 1908.
